After what started as a dream (and several years of mulling it over), she finally did it!

Backroad Blooms is in business!

 

Kylie has been a resident of Turtle Lake, Wisconsin all her life, and from a young age, she developed a love of nature and creating artwork. While in high school, Kylie quickly learned how to combine both of these passions when she worked for a greenhouse and had her first experience designing floral arrangements. While attending college, she was lucky enough to work for a florist where she continued to hone her floristry talents. After graduating college and working in a few different fields, she continued to talk about starting her own floristry business. Soon the perfect opportunity presented itself, and she took the plunge — Backroad Blooms became a reality!

 

With nearly 10 years of experience as a floral designer, some of her favorite pieces to produce are those where she can use her creative abilities to shape unique pieces for her clients.  This is especially true when working in collaboration with families to develop sympathy pieces. She has found a sincere love and motivation in being able to create arrangements to celebrate the deceased's life by incorporating their hobbies and interests.
